NUCTECH™ TH1800 Terahertz Imaging Instrument (TH1800 later), is a new type of body security scanner developed by NUCTECH. The system conducts passive terahertz imaging technology which adopts the characteristics of terahertz waves penetrating through general clothing to realize a long-distance, non-contact human body inspection. In addition, based on the deep-learning algorithm, TH1800 will automatically mark concealed contraband under clothing or on the human body, including but not limited to metal/non-metallic weapons, smuggled cash, IEDs, liquids, drugs, cell phones, etc.
All controls on one computer
TH1800 can form a high contrast, real-time image by acquiring the terahertz signals emitted from the human body, with no ionizing radiation issue. The inspected people walk through normally and do not need to be stationary. TH1800 is equipped with a high-definition optical camera, which can display both terahertz and optical images at the same time to assist the operator. The product is safe, high efficiency, senseless, and concealable.
